UPDATE: Equipment Status

We've had our share of issues so far, some I've talked about, but most we haven't talked about yet. So here is the status of our equipment and bikes right now:

Equipment: We started with 2 helmet cams, 2 Bike cams and a Sony handheld Camcorder. We have 1 bike cam, and one the Sony left. One helmet Cam got dropped, and broke the battery holdder. The second helmet cam flew off and went bouncing down the road. We are going to try and repair them and get one working again. The one bike cam fell between the forks on the bike, and is somewhere in Russia, we don't know where. So in about 2 weeks on the road, we were down about $1500 in cameras.


Cory's Bike:

1. Repaired pannier bracket
2. Broken Battery
3. Handle bar risers are twisting
4. Kickstand broke
5. Tank Bag ripped off
6. Peg packer bolt broke
7. Hula girl broke off :(
8. Waterpoof bags split
9, Cut rear tire (from pannier bracket)

Tim's Bike

1. Rear tire leaks (pump up twice a day)
2. Cracked windscreen
3. Main bolt holding windscreen rattled off
4. Main air intake rattled loose
5. Pannier rack broke

Petar's Bike

1. Cooling system (Fan doesn't turn on)
2. Using oil
3. Battery cable rattled loose
4. Broken headlight
