We spent three days in Vegas with Becky, going to shows and walking the strip. Vegas was the same as it always is, a souless cotton candy city that sucks the goodness out of every being who enters. In other words, it was a lot of fun.
We booked our stay at the Excalibur, which is a fairly decent hotel. To give you an idea how bad Vegas is hurting, the rooms were $36.00 each night. The casino's were very uncrowded, and the entire strip, while not lifeless, was not the usual bustle that you expect.
As we were leaving on Wednesday, we were walking across the lobby when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted my friend Jeff. What a great surprise! We had lunch with him and his girlfriend, they were just getting to Vegas as we were leaving.
