Day 91: KOA Campground Halloween

We had a good day of riding, and booked into a packed KOA campground.  It was almost full, and there were 350 or so kids, all dressed for Halloween.  Seems down here, they celebrate Helloween for about three weekends before the actual holiday.

So the kids were all set to come trick-or-treating from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and we had just arrived.  So we quickly put our tents up, and went to the store and bought some candy to hand out.

We got up the next morning, hung out a bit with our neighbors and their adorable daughter and her friend, who we made sing for their candy the night before :)

Then we took off, heading south.

Also, I stood in a corn field.  It's a little like Where's Waldo, but I'm in there.

  1. I have been following your weather the last couple days. Not much good weather by the looks of it. One more day should get you into something a little more enjoyable. Hope all is still going great.
