Today was a full one on amazing roads. Since we are at fairly high altitude (0ver 10,000) feet most of the time, the air is quite cool (from 6-18 degrees Celsius)
A lot of the day was spent riding into and out of the clouds, as they rush up the valley and spill over the roadway.
We stopped a couple times for a break to have lunch in a small roadside town. For three meals (Troy, Tutu and myself) of meat (chicken or pork), rice, potatoes and vegetable, plus Troy and I each had an extra piece of chicken, the bill came to $7.50 for all.
We've landed in Cuenca, which seems to be a very cool town, with some wonderful buildings and churches.

The kickstand on Troys bike sucks, and it will blow over in a breeze. |
Hi Guys
ReplyDeleteHave you been watching the news about Japan? Cory went through California yesterday. Looks like he is on his way home. It's still cold in red deer and lots of snow. The pics you are sending are magnificent.
We will be back in Red Deer in about three weeks (If the snow is gone)
