34 Days to Go: Mike and Ruby

Last night, we had the absolute pleasure of having dinner with two of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet, Mike and Ruby of www.2canadiansonbikes.com.





Mike and Ruby literally have been there and done that, traveling around the world on two BMW R1200GS's. They've traveled extensively throughout North America, the Middle East, and Africa (and I mean EXTENSIVELY... check out the website)

Being able to get first hand knowledge was absolutely priceless, as they have come across and solved many of the problems we will likely find on this trip. Their information and insight were invaluable, and they couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating of our many questions.

Once we get back, we hope to repay the favor and provide them insight into our trip, as they are planning on heading off in 2010 to do a similar route through the Russian Far East.
