Day 6: Sok Cho, South Korea

We spent the day yesterday getting acquainted with Seoul. It's a large city of over 8 million people, so we were only able to scratch the surface. We spent a couple hours at the Korean War Museum, which is fascinating when you consider that this entire country lives with the imminent threat of North Korea only 70 KM north of Seoul. The war museum was fascinating.

We then spent 3 or 4 hours at the Dragon Hill Spa, which is an immense complex of hot tubs, "kiln" sauna's, pools, sea salt sauna's, a cold room and at least 3 or 4 restaurants. They serve up to 3000 people per day.

We just took a bus to Sok Cho, which is on the opposite coast, awaiting the arrival of the motorcycles from the Airport. They had some issues with them as they are too large to fit on standard vehicles. They needed to get a 5 ton, which was difficult to do on Saturday. They should arrive tomorrow morning, in time for our Ferry ride to Russia. We haven't seen the bikes since Vancouver, and we are very anxious to get back on them and start riding again.
