Day 71: Poland

Left Ukraine for Poland today, which means we have entered the European Union. However, we found out that Poland doesn't take Euro's, so we had to change money again.

Ended up in a huge traffic jam in the middle of the day, where we learned that Polish drivers are some of the most generous and courteous we have met. We lane split (went between the traffic) in the jam, and a lot of the cars were moving out of the way to allow us to pass. Big trucks would move aside for us and wave. So we ended up making good time through about 10 km of bumper to bumper traffic.

The roads here are beautiful. We are back in civilization, you see more road signs in 1 km here than we saw in all of Mongolia.

Welcome to Poland, we are now officially in the EU.
