We were travelling back to La Paz on a sand and gravel road, with a front street tire on my R1200GS Adventure bike, which weighs about 1000 lbs with me on it.
Here is the result. :)
Note: No damage to the rider (me) other than a little pride. The bike got a few more scratches and the rear pannier is now more rhombus shaped than rectangular. But other than than.. no issues.

It was slow speed, and gravel. No issues. Bike took another couple scratches and the pannier is bent. The helmet cam was on my head, so I really skidded in the dirt with my head. :)
