After 118 days last year, I was coming home after riding around the world.
I thought it would be a good opportunity to list some of the things that have happened, and things I have learned since starting this motorcycle adventure:
1. My bike has 62,000 km on it.
2. I was 42 when I started riding a motorcycle. I will be 44 in 16 days.
3. I've ridden through 23 countries.
4. Russia and Colombia have the prettiest girls.
5. I am a subject matter expert on border crossings.
6. You can become great friends on the road in a very short time.
7. Mongolia is a magical place.
8. I love Yoga.
9. I can't dance.
10. Everyone is proud of their country
11. 95% of people have never been far from home.
12. 99% of people in the world are helpful and friendly.
13. Everywhere I go, they warn me about the people down the road.
14. I like hot showers.
15. The internet makes the world smaller.
16. Coca Cola is everywhere.
17. I think I might be broken for a regular life.
18. Sometimes, this is hard.
19. I have no idea when it will end.
