Back in Peru

Made it back to Peru with no problems.  Lots of planes, lots of hanging out in airports, but we arrived, safe and sound.

Vanessa is having a bit of a time with the altitude, since she has lived her whole life at sea level, this is a big change for her.    She's also freezing cold all the time, since Cusco is pretty cool at night, and Barranquilla is always hot.  We bought some mits and a toque and a big sweater for her.

I spoke to Leo (the guy who has kept my bike for the last month in Peru) and we will have the new part (shock bolt) to repair my bike in the next couple days.

After that, we'll get on the road again.

Until then, some tourist pictures of Cusco:

Hanging out with some of the Loki Hostel staff girls...

On the right is Kyle, another Canadian who was in our dorm room.  Cool cat.

Vanessa with her new toque and sweater.  She's still cold.

Only a native South American would be happy to eat street vendor food here.  Not me!

OK, maybe some corn.  :)

At the local market, where they sell everything.

Even snouts.  Vanessa was scared of them.  :)

With her new mittens and scarf.  She likes pink.
