The next day we rode back to Purmamarca to the luxury hotel for our first luxury night, I had picked up the ingredients on the way for a special meal I was going to cook for Tutu.
When we arrived they told us there was a problem, they couldn't give us the budget suite we had booked because after years of waiting (which was part of the reason such an amazing place was so cheap), they had finally got access to gas, and they were currently fitting the place out... so they could only supply us with their top, supremo, deluxe apartment at the same cost, yet only for one night.
We graciously accepted... The timing could not have been more perfect, we were in shock, we had the most incredible, "in our dreams" apartment, and the gods or nature had made it so we had the best for the base price. Needless to say I cooked Tutu the best meal I could, while she had a bath in bubbles and improved her angry birds (thanks again Tim!!) and I got to watch CNN on an actual TV while we lived in luxury complete with a full "home" delivered breakfast in bed the next morning, whence we were so satisfied we asked if we could have one more night... and they said yes!!!
It's hard to explain how amazing it is to be in a hotel of such perfection, with the girl of your dreams; no more need be said...
