Zip Line

The part for my bike shock didn't come in today, so we got up early and took a 1.5 hour ride to do a Zip line and ladder climb.

The ladder runs straight up the side of some huge cliffs, and we climbed 300 meters, before doing 5 different Zip lines, from 300 to 500 meters.

What a blast.  Vanessa has never climbed before and was scared out of her mind on the zip line, but she conquered her fears and did all 5 of them.  By the third one she was even kicking her legs a bit.

The final line was a repel descent, and again, she did awesome.

Fun Day!

Hanging out after getting fitted for our gear

Starting the climb.  The smile is for the camera.  She was pretty scared here, but trying hard to overcome it.

The view down the valley from about 100 meters up.

One of our guides Marco.   He was very helpful and patient in helping Vanessa with the climb and the Zip lines

And a close up.

She didn't quite make the platform, so she had to pull herself the last 10 feet.

Safe on the platform.

Rapeling down to the road.
