Cabo San Lucas

We rode to Cabo in sweltering heat… again.  We were here looking for a BMW dealer that could look at my leaking final drive.

As we were driving to Cabo, I began to notice that under load my clutch had begun slipping…not a good sign.

The clutch is a pretty intensive repair, which will require pulling the bike literally apart to replace.

As we pulled into Cabo, we saw the dealership on the main road, stopped, but it was closed and there was a sign on the door (in spanish).  We couldn't really make out what it said, but the email address on the bottom, and the unhappy smiley face was not a good sign.  We booked into the hotel, and found out that they (the only BMW dealership in Cabo) was out of business.

So now, were going back to La Paz to take the ferry to the mainland, and will try and find a dealership somewhere further down the line.    We just hope that the clutch stays together long enough.

Since we had booked a hotel for a couple days online, we were forced to stay in Cabo with nothing to do but lay on the beach and hang out.  Rough… I know.

We were out last night at one of the local bars when I turned around an there was one of my gym friends Kevin from Calgary.  I had spoken to him about 3 or 4 days before we left for the trip, and then we end up running into him in a tiny place in Cabo.  :)  Awesome.

My new riding glasses?  :)

Some of our buddies, the bouncers.  :)

Troy talking with a girl from his hometown (Melburne, Aus) that we ran into.

  1. Double fisting it with a cigar? Oh, Cort Handsome! ;)

Hope you find a place to fix your bike or you just might get stuck on that beach!
