To those not following, our Russian Visa is very complicated. We required a MULTI-ENTRY, and longer term visa than is normal. Russia has some different VISA's but most of them are single or double entry, and are for 30 days. There was no way we would be able to get through the Russian Far East, Mongolia and Kazakhstan within 30 days.
To qualify for this VISA, there are some understandable "hoops" we needed to jump through, and the great news is that it is on it's way.
