Our plane was hit by lightning coming in, so we have been sitting at the Airport for the last 4 hours waiting for them to check out the plane, or get another plane. We are now scheduled to leave at 5:45 pm.
Only 17 more Borders to go... :)
Here is our new friend Michelle and I, sad that our flight is delayed. :)

Update 1: Massive ISSUES with Air Canada Cargo.
Air Canada Cargo (Vancouver) wouldn't accept the Dangerous Goods Certificate that Air Canada Cargo/Avisar in Calgary prepared last month, therefore the BIKES are sitting at Cargo in Vancouver. We had to get on the plane, so we left the bikes in Vancouver, with the assurances from Cargo that the bikes would follow, 1 day later than us, which means we may miss the Ferry to Russia on the 19th.
They had to get Avisar to re-create the Dangerous Goods Certificate in Calgary, and put the new documents on an Air Canada Plane to Vancouver for this afternoon, so the guys in Vancouver can clear it in time to put the bikes on tomorrows flight to Korea.
The issue they had was that the DG documents showed Page (1 of 1) for Cory and my bike, and Page (1 of 1) for Petar's bike. They should have said page (1 of 2) and Page (2 of 2). So the Air Canada guy at the counter changed it (in front of me), on the official document, which is a big no-no. The morning shift Manager then came in and disallowed the Certificate because it had been changed! We didn't change it, the Air Canada guy did! After 20 minutes of arguing about that, they then came up with another issue with the address in Seoul for the consignee... Either way... they wouldn't ship the bikes until they had a revised certificate.
So, were at the Gate in Vancouver, waiting for our flight, hoping that the bikes will show up on the 17th in South Korea. Our Ferry to Russia leaves on the 19th, and we still need to transport the bikes across South Korea.
We will be flying for the next day, so no updates till we are in Korea. Otherwise, all is well.
We met a nice lady named Michelle from Toronto at the Airport who is travelling the same flight with us, she's going to Thailand to train Muai Thai for a month. She rode her motorcycle across Australia a couple years ago, so she is interested in out trip. We think that is pretty cool.
