La Paz... Day 302,002,349... or so it seems..

Ok, La Paz is a great city, but come on...  We've been here long enough.  Lots to see.. lets move along.

Our string of (slightly) bad luck continues, as today is Sunday, and who knew... Mexico is closed on Sunday.  All of it.  Then tomorrow is a National Holiday.  Mexico is closed again.

So our parts, which were supposed to be here Friday, are now scheduled to be here... wait for it... Tuesday afternoon.  The Ferry leaves on Tuesday at 8:00 pm.  The clutch install is about 10-12 hours of labour.

Don't think we are going to make the ferry on Tuesday.

Which means we are in La Paz till Thursday night, barring anything unforeseen, which in the last week or so,  all we've seen... is unforeseen.

I went to Home Depot today to pick up a Torque Wrench and some deep Metric sockets.  Nope.  Not available.  "Do you know of another parts store in town."  Blank looks from the 12, 18 year old guys in Home Depot Orange.  They spoke english, just didn't know where another tool store was.  Sigh...

So, on Tuesday well go running around again, and see if we can find some tools.

We're spending our days practicing Spanish, doing Yoga and laying in the sun.  Not a bad way to kill some time.

Stay tuned...
